Terms of Service

By accessing or using JSON Toolkit at json.explorme.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Aditya Kumar ("we", "us", "our").

1. Use of the service

All core tools (formatter, validator, viewer, diff, converter, JSONPath) run entirely in your browser and process your data locally. The "Save & Share" feature stores document content in our database to generate a shareable link. You are responsible for the data you submit and for keeping backups of anything important. Do not save sensitive, confidential, or personal data using the Save & Share feature.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Store or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content via saved documents.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or to circumvent any security or authentication measures.
  • Send automated or scripted requests to our API routes at a volume that degrades the Service for other users.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or resell the Service or any part of it without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to the Service at our discretion and without notice if we believe these terms have been violated.

3. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aditya Kumar. The JSON you process using the client-side tools belongs entirely to you; we make no claim to it. Content saved via the Save & Share feature is stored by us solely to operate the sharing service and is not used for any other purpose.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aditya Kumar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

6. Third-party services

The Service uses Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of the Service is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services linked to or used within the Service.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chandigarh, India.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For material changes we will display a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
