Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
JSON Toolkit ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Aditya Kumar and is accessible at json.explorme.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data processed locally
All core tools — the JSON formatter, validator, viewer, diff, converter, and JSONPath explorer — run entirely in your browser. Any JSON you paste or upload is processed on your device and is never sent to our servers. Your data stays with you.
2. Saved documents
If you use the "Save & Share" feature, the document title and content are stored in our database solely to make the shareable link work. Please do not save sensitive, confidential, or personal data using this feature. Saved documents are not private — anyone with the share link can view them. We may delete saved documents at any time without notice.
3. Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregate usage data (pages visited, tool usage, browser type) to understand how the service is used and to improve it. This data is not linked to any individual and cannot be used to identify you personally. No account or login is required to use JSON Toolkit.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense
We display ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads. For more information on how Google uses data, visit Google's Advertising Policy.
5. Cookies
We use cookies for theme preferences, consent memory, analytics, and advertising. See our Cookie Policy for full details and how to manage your preferences.
6. Data retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregate form and is not tied to individual sessions. Saved documents are retained until deleted by us or upon your request via the contact page. No other personal data is collected or stored by us.
7. Third-party links
Our site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies before sharing any personal information with them.
8. Children's privacy
JSON Toolkit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data via our service, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For significant changes we will display a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or data deletion requests, please reach us via the contact page.
